Jan is the founder of Recipe for Concept and launched the company in 2014. After studying hospitality management at the Hotel Management School Maastricht, he gained international experience in food and beverage as well as hotel management.
As the operator of several successful restaurant concepts – including Unsere Dorfwirtschaft , Seekantine, and Strassenkantine – Jan stands for cuisine and hospitality based on the principle: "goodness from simplicity." His focus is on honest quality, compelling dining experiences, and the development of taprooms and brewpubs that bring people together.
With his focus on the essentials and extensive practical know-how, Jan is one of the most influential voices in modern gastronomy.
